"Wie bitte?" so the reaction in the Saxon Corona Investigation Committee to the recollection of the witness Prof. Dr. Jörg Matysik, according to which Saxony wanted to intern quarantine refusers.
A leaked document now confirms what Health Minister Petra Köpping denies to this day, namely that psychiatric wards were planned for quarantine refusers. An internal procedural instruction clearly states how to deal with so-called "non-medical quarantine refusers" who are "corona positive" (PCR) or "strongly suspected of being infected".
So up to 6 quarantine refusers were to be transferred to the Arnsdorf psychiatric hospital in Saxony and housed in single rooms under police surveillance. After the transfer, a psychopathological examination was to be carried out.
Journalist Claudia Jaworski documented how the debate took place in the Saxon UA on 23.04.2026, in her short report. NIUS journalist Felix Perrefort reports on how the clinic and the Ministry of Health reacted to the document in his detailed article.
